Nature and Territory
A pure white beach, the emerald green sea and the dazzling brightness of the golden sand, dotted with palm trees.
The enchantment of the sea, the charm of nature
San Vito Lo Capo is a small natural paradise in the heart of the Mediterranean. The low, white houses are surrounded by the blinding bougainvillea and white jasmine flowers that climb the walls, flooding the streets with their delicious perfume. The area is a treasure chest capable of offering, to anyone who visits, unique emotions.
Every nuance is an emotion
With a thousand shades of blue, the sea enchants with its splendour. For several years, Legambiente and the Touring Club have awarded the San Vito coastline the 5 Sails (2019) for the cleanliness of the water and beach services, while the shallow and sandy seabed, ideal for children’s bathing, flies the Green Flag of Italian paediatricians. A stretch of the shoreline is also barrier-free, suitable for bathers with different motor skills. A few kilometres from San Vito Lo Capo, the Santa Margherita bay is a breathtaking corner of coastline: two and a half kilometres of both rocky and sandy shores that plunge into the sea.
Its enchanting gulf, from which there is a breathtaking panorama, welcomes those who arrive at San Vito Lo Capo. This small hamlet in the municipal territory is a delightful village nestled in sumptuous nature, overlooked by the majestic Mount Cofano.
It is the ideal destination for relaxation, immersed in an extraordinary natural environment, amidst silent coves, imposing cliffs and mysterious caves, but also for excursions and bicycle rides. It will remain in your heart, along with its sunsets that will make it unforgettable.
It is renowned for its excellent oil, with its particular fragrance, extracted from the surrounding soils.
